As Babe Ruth once said, “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game”. With these words of wisdom in mind, we are swinging for the fences by opening Batter Up the Indoor Baseball and Softball Training Facility that offers an amazing opportunity for youth, teens, young adults, and even adults to enjoy their favorite sport year-round and close to home!

The dream of Batter Up came to us as we were driving to take our son, Colin (age 12), to his baseball game in the St. Louis, Missouri area. We are fully acclimated to the 1.5 hour drive since we make it multiple times a week as the team he loves to play for is STL-based. Imagine our surprise, when we hear Colin yell from the back of the SUV (earbuds in):

“Hey Mom & Dad, I love you. Thank you for spending all of this time and money on me. I hope I am making you proud and you know I love baseball more than anything in the world. If I had enough money in my college account (he’s a saver), I’d use some of it to open my own building to practice in and let other kids like me practice in it whenever they wanted too”.

As we continued to drive, we couldn’t help but notice several other SUVs heading to STL with kids in uniforms riding in the back. We also had our daughter, Taylor (age 10) who also plays competitively, riding in the back in full softball gear because she wanted to get some reps in while her brother was playing. And the dream was born….

Needless to say, Colin doesn’t have enough money in his college account (tooth fairy wasn’t THAAAT giving), and we both must work full-time to provide for our family so we had to think outside of the box to make this dream a reality - - ah yes, technology - - and the dream became more achievable!

We truly hope you love our 24/7, self-service, indoor training facility that is fully equipped and powered by technology to allow remote access via secure mobile app so you and your family can train, practice, and play baseball and softball together year-around! We hope to continue to grow our services, equipment, and technology each and every year.
